The Carbomer and Acrylates that are used in our formulas are polymers and not microplastics. Our suppliers have carried out studies to demonstrate this does not pose a risk to the environment when used in cosmetics as they do not bioaccumulate, and are captured by waste-water treatment systems. They swell in water to form a gel and are used to create the texture of these products. Our products are safe and non-hazardous to human health as certified by our safety assessors.
